Tonari Sushi is a modern take on an age-old Japanese concept restaurant, based in London.

The menus needed to reflect the owner's dedication to craftsmanship, so I drew on Gyotaku, a traditional Japanese fish printing method. I carried that same thinking into the social media assets, pairing risoprint-style imagery with contemporary Grotesk typography. Together, the two create an expressive fusion of tradition and modernity across the restaurant's menus and social presence.
